The Challenge

UniBond wanted to leverage its market leadership to launch a dedicated range of products into the building trade channel. FK3 was tasked to create a promotion that would drive buy-in from retailers, as well as high engagement from the trade – both to encourage sales and acquire data.

The Ideas

FK3 designed a prize-based promotion to run exclusively with a leading retailer. To position the brand with the target audience and showcase the full range of products, the prize to win was a trade van loaded with UniBond products.

From planning to giveaway, FK3 managed the full promotion, including the design and implementation of a campaign microsite for online entries, and in-store merchandise displays, signage and a new trade range brochure.

The Results

UniBond enjoyed a 300% increase in promo entries over previous campaigns, and the activity led to new relationships and sell-in to trade channel partners including: B&Q TradePoint, Screwfix and Jewson.
