The Challenge

LogMeIn was looking to increase engagement with existing leads across its product portfolio. They also wanted to grow the total number of leads. Running an event was a tried-and-tested way to achieve this; however, specialising in cloud solutions, LogMeIn decided to run a virtual conference comprising two days of webinars covering product news and industry insight. They tasked FK3 with developing a website to host the conference, complete with integration into a third party webinar service, identity design and advertising asset development.

The Ideas

To make the project successful, the core website and identity had to be developed quickly, meaning event promotion and registration could begin faster and grow over a longer period of time. FK3 adopted an integrated approach, teaming graphic designers with developers and user experience specialists, overseen by a project management and client services team. We worked directly with the client’s preferred webinar service provider to create an easy-to-use webinar selection and sign-up process that integrated with their system, including integration with their bespoke analytics package for tracking sources of registration. As soon as speakers and topics were confirmed, we also developed and contributed content for LogMeIn’s social media and email marketing activity.

The Results

Thorough testing and fast, frictionless delivery of a responsive site, plus content for all webinars on-demand, resulted in 750 registrations and 350+ attendees for a fraction of the cost of hosting a physical event. Content from the virtual conference is being re-purposed for further activity and new and existing leads followed-up by the sales team.
